zombbean:

So there’s something I need to get off my chest. I was going to stay silent but no. I’m not going to anymore.

It seems in a world where we are today that internet bullying would finally go away right? Like you don’t need to deal with that?

Well, it’s not. Story time.

So a few days ago- 3 to be exact. I got… some terrible news about my grandma. I was already very upset at the time, and I’d released a fan game for five night’s at freddys.

Here’s where it gets bad.

There was an artist who I was really good friends with in the fandom at the time, I asked if I could draw their designs for a game [it was rated appropriately as R for some very dark themes, being a FNAF game.] and they said it was alright. I’m not dropping names, because I’m not that kind of person. So don’t ask.

Anyways, I reblog it- mind you I’m not making any money off of it, and the artist I asked to borrow designs from doesn’t own it. Scott Cawthorn does.

I get a shit ton of hatemail in my inbox. They sent their FANS after me. And it wasn’t too bad until I got to one particular that struck a cord with me. I even got a screenshot of it. The artist I asked permission from? Didn’t even ATTEMPT to contact me privately and ask me to remove it. If they would have I would have without a second though “Okay, I understand you changed your mind.”

But no, instead we have this bullshit way of dealing with things where we tell people they hope they get raped, shot, killed, or die of fucking cancer. This is NOT OKAY.

Fandom is supposed to be fun. It’s supposed to be used in the realm of fiction. Instead? People abuse others and it’s NOT OKAY. I don’t care if you find a person repulsive, you never send someone messages like this. I fucking love my grandma. I love her with all my damn heart.

People like that make me wonder if they have a heart.
