We had just started the campaign and our half-orc Druid was a known doctor being called in to perform surgery on a child’s leg.
DM: Ok you see this kid and the lower part of his leg is almost decaying, and is definitely gonna need amputated. Roll a medicine check.
(This is the very first roll of the game by the way)Druid: ……..nat 1
rest of party (who wasn’t there in game): Seriously!?!
Druid: (face in hands) Yes.
Party: Oh my gosh you just killed him didn’t you? Not 3 minuets into this campaign and we’ve already killed a child!
DM: You amputate his leg WAY too high up and he’s screaming in pain and bleeding out now.
Druid: *casts healing word* Shhhhhhhh… I went to medical school. I know what I’m doing.
