I feel like we don’t make enough of the fact that Travis has implied multiple times that Fjord speaks Fantasy!Spanish (or at least peppers his speech with loan words from it).

So if Fantasy!German in CritRole is Zemnian, what region of Exandria do we think Fantasy!Spanish originates from? Port Damali specifically, or the Menagerie Coast more broadly? Does Jester know it too?

So many questions.

I love the idea of fantasy!Spanish. In my own dnd game, we use Elvish as fantasy Spanish and make a lot of jokes about pc’s speaking high school level Elvish. Since I am the only elf in the group and also the only fluent Spanish speaker, it’s a lot of fun. 

This is such a great gaming idea! I’m definitely going to think about bilingual D&D possibilities more moving forward 🙂
