you forgot about teleportation

Players: *discussion begins on how they can get through the door, not much headway being made*

Me: Well, I have the spell Misty Step, and I can see through the bars, so can’t I just teleport through, and then I’ll pull the lever to see what happens?

DM: ….

Me: So can I?

DM: I accounted for everything, so you guys couldn’t bullshit your way through this. Everything, but teleportation.

DM: Yeah, yeah you teleport through, pull the lever, and the door opens.
