So I think it’s worth noting that Deadpool found the “Venom” suit before Spider-Man.

He realizes it’s a fucking alien (fears that HE would risk corrupting it) and literally leaves it there for Peter’s dumb ass to find.

AND THEN

AFTER BONDING WITH THE SUIT (AGAIN) AFTER PETER REJECTS IT, AND THE SUIT SUBSEQUENTLY LEAVING HIM AND RETURNING TO THE CHURCH, WADE FOLLOWS IT AND SEES EDDIE BROCK OUTSIDE AND ENCOURAGES HIM TO GO INSIDE.

(And his thoughts imply he doesn’t want the alien to be alone – he sees Eddie and realizes he could use a friend and essentially hoOKS THE TWO OF THEM UP)
