Me, but taller: Oh man, can you believe most fiction is founded in the speculation and examination of human existence and behavioural patterns? How do we come to understand one another without telling each other’s stories. My therapist once asked me to write a short piece of fiction from the perspective of my crappy father and even though I’d have no way of knowing who he is deep inside or what motivates him, I was able to process a great deal about him and my own place in his life. The world is not full of a binary of answers to everything.
