in the last couple of years i’ve listened to literally hundreds of hours of creepy and creepypasta related podcasts, and people identifying shit like that always drives me up the wall! i mean you Can kind of know when a song is “weird” but from there to “it’s backwards and i know exactly what it is” there’s a long stretch!

other things are: identifying very specific smells, like “this smells like the blood of someone who had ravioli with salsa carusso last thursday”, because pff obviously you can tell that

or situations where a character enters the space where the evil thing is, they spend 35 minutes describing the place and then they drop a “and that’s… when i saw it”, boy if you walk through the door and there’s a 3 meter clown statue, you see the clown statue first, the description of the room is not vital and can be done in a better way!
