First of all: It’s impossible to “Belittle the struggles of Bruce Wayne” because Bruce Wayne has never struggled in his entire life. He’s an obscenely wealthy straight cis white man who lives in a LITERAL MANSION WITH A BUTLER and is written as being Good At Everything Just Because He’s The Goddamn Batman
Every other hero in the DCU is constantly written as bending over backwards to put up with his Entitled Priveleged Man Pain and play along that somehow he’s better than them despite there being literally THOUSANDS of heroes in the DCU who have powers, abilities, intelligence and skills that make them better, more competent heroes than he is
Second of all: “LGBTQ as long as they don’t beat you over the head with it”
I sincerely hope that whatever bigoted little cave troll typed this sentence (Probably one handed while masturbating to their signed Youngblood poster) gets beaten over the head by a fucking brick. Third of all: Batwoman has fought and BEATEN literal fucking demi-gods and saved the entire world from an apocalypse brought about by a legion of shape shifting monsters lead by someone who can murder people just by looking at them who summoned an ANCIENT ALL POWERFUL GOD to Gotham…Batman meanwhile has had the crap kicked out of him by a Sad Luchador on steroids and an ill tempered birthday clown…so the only character who has a history of getting their ass handed to them by incredibly underpowered villains is Batman actually
And finally: The story has to make sense within the boundaries of the world its depicted in!
What, make sense as in “No one in Gotham connects ridiculously ripped orphaned billionaire Bruce Wayne who lost his parents to violent crime with the muscular superhero who has tons of expensive vehicles and gadgets and spends his life warring on violent crime in the exact same city Bruce Wayne lives and appeared at the exact same time Bruce Wayne came back to said city” that kind of sense?
Or maybe the “Sense” where adopting multiple Literal Children, dressing them up in little green and red short shorts and letting them fight serial killers with terrifying weapons seems like a great idea
Or where people get turned into walking ice monsters who can’t survive outside sub zero and menace the city with “Freeze Guns”
Who knows perhaps the kind of “Sense” they are talking about is stuff like people coming back from the dead thanks to magic swimming pools or people injecting themselves with science and turning into bat-monsters or spraying people in the face with “Fear Gas” that makes them conveniently hallucinate or where face cream turns someone into a shape shifting monster able to grow fifty times the size of a normal human
All that sensible, logical stuff that happens in Batman’s stories not at all as ridiculous and farfetched as a woman in the millitary having combat training ._.
