“Can you dance with me?”
Anti tried to figure this out. How come whenever he expected Wilford to be upset with him, he would just…surprise him. The glitch had prepared for upset, but that was not what he got. He got a question in return which Anti had not prepared for. He tilted his head and looked at his boyfriend, confused and surprised, “You’re not mad?”
Wilford gave him a smile. He just extended his hand to Anti. This reminded him of a sort of similar situation from previously; when they had confessed their love for each other, “Of course not. Why would I be upset with you?”
Anti was reluctant to take his hand. He didn’t feel as if he deserved it so quickly. “Because…I’m a fuck up,” He answered that one merely in two seconds. It was as if Anti wanted them to have a falling out but he didn’t. He was just surprised. He used to be used to being a fuck up al the day that forgiveness…who’s she?
“No no no, I won’t let you talk like that,” Wilford said before he moved a little closer towards Anti with his hand still extended to him, “Just dance with me, gumdrop. I promise I’m not mad at you. There’s no catch or anything. Just this, this right here,”
Anti knew better than to not trust Wilford’s word. After all, so far all Wilford had given him with good things. He had been there for him through some dreadful things, and now, all he wanted was to dance in the living room. With some reluctance, Anti took Wilford’s hand. With a snap of Wilford’s other hand, some music was played, but it was not what Anti was expecting.
Typically, it was some bouncy beat. After all, Wilford had been teaching Anti more and more of swing (which the virus had thoroughly been enjoying), but this time, it was slow. It was a song for slow dancing.
It was funny since Anti did know some slow dancing. He was rusty, but at least he knows some of it. It was then Wilford brought his hand onto Anti’s hip, and then Anti put his onto Wilford’s arm. The music was slow and lovely. As much as Anti appreciated an excellent beat, part of why he liked swing so much, this was incredibly wonderful. Oh moving, moving was good yes. Allowing Wilford to lead, he moved alongside.
Already, he’d forgotten what they were talking about.
Just being so close together, it always got rid of the words problems. Every issue that they were facing dissolved in the living room. Anti couldn’t hear it over music, he couldn’t see it because every time he looked up, he saw his lover brilliant smile. That smile. What he would wouldn’t do to see that smile for the rest of his life.
Moving closer, so they were almost touching closer than they were before, Anti beamed up at his lover. He would do everything for Wilford. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do. He’d bring him everything if it made him smile and he knew for a fact that there was nothing that could drive them apart. Leaning up, he pecked him on the lips, just because. If you didn’t think Wilford’s smile could get more brilliant, think again.
“There’s no need to be afraid of telling me anything,” Anti was brought back to reality by Wilford’s whisper. It was like being drunk except he hadn’t had a drink that day, funny how things happened, “I love you Anti. I would do anything to make you smile. If you wanted me to shoot someone, I’d shoot that son of a bitch. It’d do anything for you,” He said as he leaned forward to a kiss. Being that close, the temptation to dip Anti was strong, and in all honesty, he couldn’t resist. He dipped Anti forward.
“No!” Anti chuckled as he held onto Wilford, “Stop dipping me, you bastard,”
To that, Wilford put on a fake sad expression on, “I am hurt by that, truly, madly deeply, you have stung deep into my heart,” He still had Anti dipped over.
“I’m going to force you to drop me,” That was a challenge all it’s own. Wilford didn’t take the chance of hurting Anti by letting him fall, so he pulled him back up. “Thank you. You are the best boyfriend ever,” He moved to cuddle himself into Wilford’s neck, swaying along and moving, “I’d do anything for you Wilford. Who do you want me to stab? I’ll stab them and bring you the head,”
This caused a rumble of laughter, “How about… you stay tonight, and we cuddle all night? Not quite stabbing but…”
Anti grinned and leaned up or a big kiss. As much as he loved a good stab, this was so much better.
