Can we please pause to acknowledge and appreciate that in canon, Thomas and Roman just seem to always 100% get each other. They’re like singing storytelling thespian best friends who would die for each other and probably platonically flirt a lot and be each other’s hype men, and they just seem to really have fun together and vibe off each other and it’s wholesome as hell. I’m thinking their worlds are still pretty removed from each other, so if Thomas has a guy irl that he likes, Roman is the first one to fangirl with him and encourage him to pursue it, coming up with creative ways of flirting and romantic gestures and being his motivational speaker, yelling about all the wonderful things he can provide in a relationship and how great his butt is. Similarly, if Roman had a crush on one of the Sides, Thomas would be the one hyping about it and giving advice and even trying to talk up Roman to that other Side. Videos featuring just the two of them. Vlog dilemmas that put them in constant contact. Team player games with two Sides per team, rigged for him to be on his crush’s side. Thomas just doing his Best for him. Vice versa.
