no offence but angels with their 6 wings, blazing halos, multitudes of eyes, 4 faces + booming voices are 100 times more terrifying than any demon I’ve ever seen a description of. oh it’s a dude with horns. that’s chill. come back when you’re an eternal arcane wheel of fire and maybe i’ll be afraid of you.

Angels do not reveal themselves to seduce you to sin. Thus they have no need for forms such as ours unless so instructed by God. Demons, however, must attempt to bring you over and so appear in forms pleasing to the eye, but it is all lies.

Consider this: Every time God needs to send a message, an Angel delivers it. Destroy the entire cities of Sodom and Gomorrah? Angels. Needs to kill more than 1,000 Assyrian soldiers in a single night? One. Single. Angel. Slay all the first born children of Thinis, Egypt in one night? Yep, an Angel.
They bring news from God, but the news isn’t always what you want to hear.
