i know OP wants to make a joke about it but this is actually a real problem in china where they will censor and hide everything from their people that will give even a slight hint of information that would lead to a rebellion. china’s treatment of their people barely even offer basic freedom human rights and i’m pretty sure why they blocked tumblr is much of the main topics talks about human equality and the LGBT+ community.

This concept isn’t a joke, guys. It’s not funny at all. I hadn’t heard that Tumblr was blocked there, but I have a friend who is from/lives in China (she is in the US for education reasons currently but will be going back to China next week) and she said that Snapchat is blocked there. She plans to use a VPN to access it, but it’s a very serious issue that the government is blocking its people from sources of communication, information, and entertainment.
